Does IAPMO publish ANSI accredited standards?

On March 18, 2005, the IAPMO R&T Standards Department received accreditation as a Standards Developing Organization (SDO) from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). This expands our service to develop ANSI consensus standards from own IAPMO standards.

IAPMO also is the secretariat of the IAPMO/ANSI Z124 Standards for Standards for Plastic Plumbing Fixtures.

How can IAPMO service to represent the customer?

The IAPMO R&T Standards Department is a member in many standards-writing organizations throughout North America. These organizations include the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the American society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the American Society of Sanitary Engineering (ASSE), the Canadian Standards Association (CSA), and the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA).
