Such devices are intended to provide a transition connection from an appliance or water treatment equipment to the plumbing drainage system.

This IGC covers materials, dimensional tolerances, testing and marking requirements for sanitary flooring systems within a structure. A sanitary flooring system is not considered a plumbing fixture.

This Standard covers flexible elastomeric mechanical fittings for use with plain end drain, waste, and vent (DWV) and plain end sewer (tubular waste) pipe and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

This standard applies to zero waste water reverse osmosis systems and zero waste retrofit kits to adapt to existing reverse osmosis systems. It covers definitions, general requirements, performance requirements, and marking for such systems.

This Standard covers flushing and non-water-consuming urinals with mechanical traps and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

This Standard covers special fittings with strainers intended for water closet fill valves and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

This IGC covers the test methods and performance requirements applicable for freeze protection devices with test cocks. These devices are intended to provide intermittent freeze protection and not as winterization devices for cold weather climates.

The provisions of the IGC are to allow for the establishment of technology for Plastic DWV to Sewer Adapters. The provision of the IGC is not intended to prevent the use of alternate design, assembly configuration, method or material, provided any such alternate meets the performance and minimum specification criteria outlined herein.

This Standard covers roof drains with integral overflows or air vents and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance tests, and markings.

This standard covers mechanically applied epoxy barrier coatings to the interior of pressurized (closed) water piping systems and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings. This standard does not cover design or testing of epoxy barrier coating for use with fire sprinkler piping system

This Standard specifies requirements for the installation of thrust blocking for ductile iron pipe with elastomeric gasketed joints and fittings and PVC piping with solvent cemented or elastomeric gasketed joints intended for cold water building supply and yard piping. Thrust blocks covered by this standard prevent separation of joints and pipe movement by transferring the resultant thrust force at a bend to the undisturbed soil behind the thrust block. The bearing strength of the soil is expressed in pounds per square foot. Therefore, the area behind the thrust block must engage enough soil area to resist the resultant thrust force at a change in direction.

This Standard covers condensate traps and overflow switches intended for use in air conditioning system applications and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings. Products covered by the scope of this standard may include waterless condensate traps, special purpose PVC fittings and/or condensate trap and/or overflow switch assemblies.

This standard covers elastomeric elbows and tees used in the connection of common household drain, waste and vent pipes for above ground non-pressure repair applications and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

Drain rock is used in subsoil leach systems that dispose of septic effluent or treated wastewater effluent in order to provide structural support for the soil surrounding the leach systems, provide a material that disperses the flow of effluent to prevent point loading to the absorptive surface, provide void space for air penetration and for storage capacity in the leach system. Drain rock replacement materials used to substitute for natural rock. This standard is to insure that such replacement materials provide equivalent function to drain rock in leach or drainage systems.

This Standard covers overflow pans for washing machines, water heaters, and other appliances and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

This Standard covers polyethylene sleeved‐corrugated stainless‐steel tubing (PE‐CSST) intended for use in fuel gas piping systems and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

This Standard covers bracing systems intended for securing water heaters to wood wall structures (i.e., wood studs) and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

This standard covers the minimum requirements for protection of public health and safety associated with reclaimed water conservation at the toilet level, the materials in the construction of a reclaimed water conservation system for toilet flushing and to prescribe the minimum testing requirements for the performance of the reclaimed water conservation system for flushing toilets, together with methods of marking and identification.

This standard covers definitions, general and testing requirements, and requirements for installation instructions and markings for odor removing air filters for terminal vent pipes.

This standard covers the method of application, type of materials and other significant properties in addition to general description of materials used. Certain features of manufacturing of the finished product are also given, together with the markings for identification of the finished product. The factory applied AL and PE or PEX coated SDR9 PEX tubing, covered by this standard, is intended for use in all installations when installed in compliance with the Uniform Plumbing Code as published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials and the manufacturer’s installation instructions. All polyethylene (PE) or crosslinked polyethylene (PEX) coating shall be applied in the plant expressly for this work with approved materials. The adhesive and PE or PEX coating shall be applied in one continuous operation by passing aluminum wrapped tubing through a machine expressly designed for this purpose. The coating described in this standard is designed to protect and support the distribution tubing. Stripping of coating to expose PEX tubing prior to applying fittings shall not reduce, affect or damage the outside diameter of the PEX tubing.

Water softener by-pass valve. Valve used by water treatment devices that allows water to be directed through the water treatment device or internally through the valve. This valve allows water to be distributed throughout a residence even if the drinking water device is being serviced.

This Standard covers corrugated stainless steel hot- and cold- water distribution systems intended for use in 1012.8 kPa (147 psi) water service up to and including a maximum working temperature of 100°C (212°F) and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

This Standard covers demand driven storm water diversion systems and associated electrical/mechanical control components intended for residential and commercial applications and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

The purpose of this standard is to provide the minimum design and performance criteria for water closet with an integral rinse station. This standard is not intended to be a specification guide nor is it intended to restrict design.

The provisions of this standard are to allow for the establishment of sinks that have integral rinsing outlets below the flood plane of the fixture. The provisions of this standard are not intended to prevent the use of any alternate design, assembly configuration, method or material, provided any such alternate meets the performance and minimum specification criteria outlined herein.

This standard covers minimum standards for materials in the construction of PE-RT pipe and PE-RT fittings containing an inductive welded connection which may also be combined with other end connections such as threaded, and/or application types and to prescribe minimum test requirements for the performance, together with methods of marking and identification. The PE-RT Multilayer pipe is produced using PE-RT pipe as a core, an oxygen barrier, and an extruded outside layer of PE-RT. The PE-RT Multilayer Piping Systems for Hot and Cold Water, covered by this standard, is intended for use in all installations when installed in compliance with the code and the manufacturer’s installation instructions for indoor and outdoor use.

This Standard covers wall, ground, post, and floor hydrants without integral backflow preventers and specifies requirements for physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

This standard serves as a supplement to ASME B16.22. This standard addresses end connections requirements that are not covered by the current version of ASME B16.22 standard.

This Standard covers PVC or ABS covers for use with unshielded flexible transition couplings for underground piping systems, and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

This standard applies to longitudinally welded hot-dip galvanized steel pipe and fittings for wastewater systems and covers general requirements and performance tests for such products, in addition to method of markings and identification. Components within this system comprise of longitudinally welded hot-dip galvanized steel pipe and fittings having spigot and socket end connections usually operating under gravity or at a low head of pressure.

This standard covers materials, testing, dimensional, and performance requirements for a flow regulating device in sizes 1/2 through 1 (device size equates to nominal pipe size in inches).

This Standard covers commercial faucets with integral emergency eye wash units, and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings. This unit is comprised of a faucet that contains an integral emergency eye washer station and is plumbed separately and is intended for commercial use only.

This standard includes requirements for determining and confirming flow rates for hydromechanical grease interceptors rated at flows greater than 100 gpm (380 L/m). Grease Interceptors shall be designed to remove grease from effluent and retain grease until accumulations can be removed by pumping the interceptor. This standard applies to grease interceptors which are not covered under ASME A112.14.3 or PDI G101.

This standard covers minimum requirements for materials in the construction of whirlpool bathtub with pressure sealed doors and drainage tank, and to prescribe minimum test requirements for the performance of these devices, general requirements and methods of marking and identification.

This standard serves as a supplement to ASME A112.3.1. This standard addresses end connections requirements that are not covered by the current version of ASME A112.3.1.

This Standard covers systems consisting of bundled synthetic aggregate made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) intended for use in subsurface drainage applications and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

Note: In this Standard, stainless steel tanks are referred to as “tanks” or “the tank”. 1.2 The tanks covered by this Standard are intended to store hot or cold, potable or non-potable water. 1.3 The purpose of this Standard is to enhance health and safety by: (a) specifying acceptable criteria for stainless steel tanks without heat exchangers intended for pressure and non-pressure applications; (b) serving as a guide for producers, distributors, architects, engineers, contractors, installers, inspectors, and users; and (c) promoting understanding regarding materials and manufacturing of stainless steel tanks without heat exchangers intended for pressure and non-pressure applications. 1.4 The requirements of this Standard are not intended to prevent the use of alternate materials or methods of construction provided such alternates meet the intent of this Standard. 1.5 Amendments to this Standard will be made after processing according to the standards writing procedures of IAPMO.

This Standard (a) covers backwater valves (i) intended for use in horizontal pipe runs (e.g., to floor drains, sewers, and holding tanks); (ii) equipped with a moving sealing element that can be removed with a lifting device; and (iii) having an overall length of the access structure that is more than 600 mm (24 in) from the access opening; and (b) specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.
